Halloween is all about weathered and worn items. The older the better. Urns, watering cans, vases, ice chests and pewter trays make a great start to your decorating. Place these old finds on side tables, as table centerpieces or on a mantle. Spray paint dead flowers black, or use silk flowers to accessorize them.

Cover your snack table with cheesecloth or strips of gauze. Place an unpolished pewter tray in the center of the table with used candles from around the house to cast a ghoulish glow on your goodies.

No Halloween party is complete without glowing Jack-O-Lanterns. To give yours a Bethany Lowe Folk Art touch, use found objects to decorate your pumpkin's eyes, nose, mouth and ears. Old typewriter keys, scrabble pieces, coins, costume jewelry, and pencils will bring your Jack to... life?

Happy Haunting this Halloween!
